Special Electronics & Designs Inc. was founded in 1971 by Adolf Eberl and sons Rolf and Peter Eberl.  Today, SED Inc. continues to offer experience and expertise in the design and manufacturing of communications equipment for all types of installations and uses, along with additional services that can take your prototype or idea to the finished product.  We manufacture specialized products and provide solutions for challenging environments.

Rolf Eberl is a graduate of Electronics Engineering Technology from Lambton College in Sarnia, ON, specializing in Electronics.  As President of SED, Rolf has led the company to innovating new products, company expansion and large scale multimillion dollar projects. His areas of expertise are design, development, and quality management.


Peter Eberl, Vice President

Peter Eberl studied Manufacturing Engineering Technology at Fanshawe College in London, ON before joining the family business in 1986.  His experience encompasses production, tooling and purchasing.
