SED Warranties at a Glance
SED and its Authorized Service Centers shall offer
and support all warranties given by SED for their respective products.
The following summary is intended for quick reference only.
The Terms and Conditions of the Warranty as stated in
each product's manual must be referenced to determine the Customer's rights
and the manner in which claims are to be made. As is usual practice, damage
brought about by abuse is not covered by our warranties.
Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries are not included at any time.

Our Service Policy
Special Electronics & Designs Inc., and/or its
factory certified service centres, shall provide prompt, courteous and cost
effective service.
Delivery Schedules
Stock items are shipped, five (5) working days from receipt
of order. Products requiring customer specified options are shipped within
thirty (30) working days. Custom work is subject to negotiation.
Customer Service and Warranty Information
SED and its authorized Service Centers provide complete
repair service for all SED manufactured products.
The following is Standard Policy:
Hours:
Service is available during regular business hours, Monday
to Friday, Statutory Holidays excluded. Service during other than these hours,
including "free" warranty service, will be scheduled upon a customer's
request for "emergency service".
Rates:
For equipment covered by the original warranty free service
is provided during normal hours. A $70.00 hourly rate plus shipping and handling
for service of products not covered by warranty. Billing outside of regular
hours shall be 1.5 times the regular hourly rate ($105.00). After hours service
performed on equipment normally covered under free service will be charged
at $105.00/hour. (All charges are in US dollars)
